My Grandparent's Farmhouse
At my grandparent’s villa you will need a car or taxi for food, shopping, and to access the center of town. The villa also has magnificent views of the Alpine Mountains and the Gran Sasso, the heighest moutain in that mountain range. During World War II, Mussolini was held prisoner at the top of the Gran Sasso. He was rescued by the Germans in a daring assault of the fortress, and was flown to safety. You can take a beautiful tram ride to the top of the Gran Sasso or drive by car during the summer months. During the winter it offers wonderful skiing. There are also other ski resorts nearby.
My father’s house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an eat-in kitchen with a fireplace for cooking. There is also a beautiful living room and dining room with a fireplace and a bar. This house can sleep six comfortably.
